Tips for architecture STUDENTS

remember to break your up your 3d CAD model

Laser cutting is a 2D process.
You will need to break apart each wall, slab etc into 2D drawings, in a plan view.
make sure the drawing you publish is not 3D
EG, for rhino users, make 2D will flatten your parts so there are no duplicate lines.
If there are duplicate lines, the laser will cut twice. While we do check this, it will take time and cost you more.
Remember to account for the thickness of the materials your will build your model from in your drawings.
