remember to break your up your 3d CAD model
- Laser cutting is a 2D process.
- You will need to break apart each wall, slab etc into 2D drawings, in a plan view.
- make sure the drawing you publish is not 3D
- EG, for rhino users, make 2D will flatten your parts so there are no duplicate lines.
- If there are duplicate lines, the laser will cut twice. While we do check this, it will take time and cost you more.
- Remember to account for the thickness of the materials your will build your model from in your drawings.
